… It’s Simple 🌿

My dad was one of the hardest-working people I’ve ever known. He owned a small mechanic shop in Alberta — Arena Auto Service — and poured his heart into it every single day. Growing up, I saw firsthand what it takes to run a small business: the long hours, the constant juggling, and the passion that keeps it all going.

When my dad passed away last year, the business he had built with so much dedication began to fade. I couldn’t stand by and watch that happen. Having worked for him years earlier, I understood how things ran — the paperwork, payroll, and the endless tasks that kept the shop moving. So I stepped in to help.

Working remotely from BC, I began organizing and digitizing everything — bringing order to the paperwork, balancing the books, catching up on QuickBooks, and keeping things running day to day. I managed estimates, invoicing, parts orders, bookings, and calls — whatever was needed to get the shop back on track.

Over time, Arena Auto Service found its rhythm again. Once we found the right person to take over operations, I was able to step back — knowing the business my dad built was in good hands and on the right path forward.

That experience reminded me of something powerful: so many small business owners are just like my dad. Passionate, driven, but overwhelmed by the back-end work that takes them away from what they love.

Like many business owners, I started out wearing all the hats. I was answering emails at midnight, juggling client calls, running social media, keeping track of invoices — and wondering how anyone ever managed to grow while doing it all.

It didn’t take long for me to realize something important: the busywork was stealing the focus from the big work — the kind of work that actually moves a business forward. That’s when It’s Simple was born.

I wanted to create a service that gave business owners their time, energy, and clarity back. A place where they could hand off the small but important tasks, knowing they’d be handled with care — so they could finally focus on what really matters: building their vision.

Today, as a Licensed Real Estate Agent, I also help entrepreneurs and property owners navigate the connection between business and real estate. Whether it’s finding your next property, optimizing your current space, or tackling small projects around your home or office, I bring the same detail-oriented, supportive approach to make the process simple and stress-free.

It’s Simple isn’t just about checking off to-do lists. It’s about creating space for growth, balance, and confidence. My journey began in the chaos of trying to do it all — and transformed into helping others make their business lives lighter, clearer, and, well… simpler. 🌿
